Video Transcript:

Tom Mustin:

What can a spouse do if they suspect their partner of hiding assets in a divorce? We ask attorney Carla Barone in this Ask The Lawyers Quick Question.

Carla Barone:

Hiring either a private investigator to do some search if you have, you know, identifying information, Social Security numbers and things of that nature. Additionally, a forensic accountant could be a good resource if there is a suspicion of hiding assets, using somebody's earnings and bank accounts that you know of to sort of back trace and build a case that there might be a lifestyle being enjoyed that isn't really supported by what you have in black and white in front of you can be something a forensic accountant could piece together and help our clients out there.
