San Diego Estate Planning Attorney Urges Caution

Video Transcript:

Rob Rosenthal:

When you can simply download them on the internet, why should you hire a lawyer for estate planning documents? Well, that's what we asked California lawyer Vinny Casiano for an Ask the Lawyers quick question.

Vinny Casiano:

You can download a form or because you can go to LegalZoom or Rocket Lawyer, they'll ask you questions, you don't know why you're answering that question. What's the import of that question? Why does it matter? Right, you can give an answer. Right, and then you don't know. And trust me, when I tell you, I've seen tons of those documents come across my desk and they're not valid, they weren't done right. Right. So you hire the lawyer, not for the end result, and trust me, I do beautiful documents, they're great documents, but you hire me because of my expertise and my ability to advise you.
