Nashville Lawyer Says to Watch for Odd Sounds, Stiffness, Pain

Video Transcript:

Rob Rosenthal:

Do you know what happens when a hip implant fails? We ask Tennessee lawyer Chris Gilreath for this Ask the Lawyers Quick Question.

Chris Gilreath:

There's a range of symptoms that people will feel. It could be something as slight as you don't feel anything but you hear a squeak or a strange noise coming from your hip. Sometimes you'll feel your hip kinda lock up a little bit. It won't be a smooth movement. Sometimes when you move your leg a certain way, you'll feel pain, and in the most significant situation, you'll actually lose stability and lose the ability to stand or walk at all and you'll fall. That's usually with the failure of the implant itself.
