Video Transcript:

Tom Mustin:

What type of evidence is available to prove fault after a commercial truck accident?

Ryan Skiver:

There's lots of evidence that's available to prove fault after a truck crash. One of the most important things is nowadays these trucks are equipped with all types of telematics or things that track them, just like your cell phone that tells you how fast they're going when they're breaking, other types of things that they have as well as electronic logging devices, where they have to put in how long they've been driving to see if they're still within their safe driving hours. So that's just some of the equipment on the truck. And then when you get into the truck driver and the trucking companies, you wanna make sure that they are properly qualified, that they are trained and that they're supervised by these trucking companies to make sure that they're up to the standards that we expect in our community to keep everyone safe. And that they're complying with all of the laws, the rules and the regulations.
