Columbus Accident Attorney Explains the Symptoms

Video Transcript:

Molly Hendrickson:

What are the signs of brain injury after a car or truck accident?

Michelle Martin:

It’s really difficult immediately following a car or truck accident to figure out what the signs or symptoms may be that would indicate there's a traumatic brain injury. A lot of the times the symptoms don't really even start to onset until six months to a year later and so some of the things that you can look out for with your family or loved ones or with yourself is if you're experiencing dizziness, depression, lack of sleep. If you have any type of anxiety and you don't really know where it's coming from you should go see talk to your primary care physician and see if they can refer you to a neuropsychologist or a psychologist to talk to you and see maybe what's going on there. If you've experienced a head injury, you want to get it checked out.
