Hawaiʻi Injury Lawyer Explains What To Do

Video Transcript:

Molly Hendrickson:

What should you do if you're hit as a pedestrian in Honolulu?

Wayne Parsons:

Pedestrian injuries are usually worse than other injuries. Oftentimes they're death cases because when a car hits a pedestrian, it can frequently result in death. They need to obviously get well, they need to get to the hospital. Hopefully, they can describe what happened to them, but if they are very seriously injured or they are killed, then their families need to get a lawyer on board as quickly as they can to document what happened, to try to find witnesses who might have been there, 'cause oftentimes in a pedestrian incident, there's a lot of people in cars that saw it happen, and they drive on, they drive away. You might have witnesses that you can find shortly after it happened, by putting an ad in the paper and saying, "If anybody saw this, please get in touch with us." And so they should get in touch with a lawyer, it's not gonna cost them anything and see if they can... If they have a claim and can recover their losses.
