Macon Accident Lawyer Explains

Molly Hendrickson:

Do you always need a lawyer for an injury claim in Georgia?

David McCain:

Georgia law and the Georgia bar rules do not require that a person who is injured through the negligence of somebody else, does not require that the person have a lawyer. However, I strongly advise that if you are injured in a tractor trailer accident or a car wreck or through the negligence of somebody else, that you do consult a lawyer licensed in the State of Georgia. You have to remember these insurance companies and large corporations have lawyers on their side from the very outset, so it is important for you to get your own lawyer to represent your interests from the very beginning of the claim.
