NYC Brain Injury Attorney Jeffrey Antin

Video Transcript:

Rob Rosenthal:

Are traumatic brain injuries always diagnosed right after an accident? Let's ask a New York City lawyer Jeff Antin for an Ask The Lawyers quick question.

Jeff Antin:

Not, not at all, no, you... It's very hard to diagnose those things, especially right upfront. CAT scans do not tell, or cannot determine, or cannot detect whether or not there's a significant head trauma, or whether or not there might be a traumatic brain injury, so it takes a lot of testing to rule out other things, and 'cause you relate that type of an injury to the trauma that you sustain.
