Rob Rosenthal:

If you're injured on the job, do you know how to tell if you have a third party case? We're asking Ohio Lawyer Michelle Martin for this Ask the Lawyers Quick Question.

Michelle Martin:

If you have a work-related injury that was caused by a third party, not necessarily the employer themselves, then there may be another party that is responsible and liable for the injury, and you're gonna wanna get an attorney to decipher whether or not the employer is gonna have liability or how much liability that third party is gonna have. And so the reason why I say it is two-fold is because sometimes those third parties can be employees or sometimes they can be just random third parties. So having a knowledgeable attorney on here, can tell you really what the difference is and how that can affect your case and how you process the case.
