Tom Mustin:

Do grandparents have rights to visitation of their grandchildren in Texas?

Duana Boswell-Loechel:

Grandparents have very limited rights to visit their grandchildren in Texas. It's a very high threshold that they have to prove in court that it's in the children's best interest that they are involved. So they have to show that they've been considerably involved in the past and that it will be harmful to the child for them to not continue to be involved in their life.
