Rob Rosenthal:

What should you do if you're arrested for DUI in the State of Pennsylvania? Let's ask Pittsburgh lawyer Frank Walker for this Ask the Lawyers Quick Question.

Frank Walker:

You want to make sure that you remain silent, you want to make sure that you get all your paperwork to a lawyer and make sure you stay away from talking to the officers.

A lot of times when people are drunk, they don't really understand what's going on, they're not really all the way there. But then you sober up and you think, "Oh man, I made a bad decision, I made a mistake, let me go back and apologize to this officer." That's not what you wanna do, 'cause now you're making a confession, which makes it a little bit harder to get your case resolved in the matter in what you want. Just to make sure you talk to a lawyer who understands DUI law.
