Rob Rosenthal:

Is it true that most of the time motorcyclists are the ones at fault in collisions with cars? Let's ask Utah lawyer Kevin Swenson for an Ask The Lawyers Quick Question.

Kevin Swenson:

It's interesting when people are involved in a motorcycle crash. The first thought is somebody on a bullet bike, they were going way too fast, they were out of control, and I think that's just one of the stereotypes we've put on bikers. But so many of the bikers that we see, they're good bikers, they've been through lots of good safety training, they're responsible, but the problem is when they have a crash with a car, they're just too little and they lose that battle, and so... Most of the time, it's not their fault, but there is that perception that the public has that they're dangerous. So, it makes it an interesting case to work on for sure.
