Truck Hits and Kills 68-Year-Old Pedestrian in West Palm Beach Truck Accident

On March 4, a large crane truck ran over and killed a 68-year-old pedestrian in West Palm Beach, according to WPTV NBC 5. The crane truck was heading east on Royal Palm Way and was turning south on South Country Road when the incident occurred. Officials said that after hitting and killing the pedestrian, the driver of the crane truck continued for about a mile before realizing he had hit someone. Police say the driver of the crane truck is cooperating with the investigation. The crane is owned by Beyel Crane and Rigging, and the driver had been with the company for more than 20 years.
