Murfreesboro Car Accident Seriously Injures Two

A four-car accident on February 24 in Murfreesboro left two people seriously injured.

According to the Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle, LifeFlight took one driver to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville and another driver was taken to Vanderbilt by ambulance following the crash.

The accident occurred at 6:40 a.m. on Franklin Road at Coleman Hill Road. A representative with the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) said that a sanitation truck traveling eastbound was stopped on Highway 96 to service a residence when another driver, who was blinded by sunlight, struck the truck.
