Profile

Gregory H. Herrman has been committed to providing quality legal representation for injured accident victims in the Corpus Christi area and the Rio Grande Valley for many years. A native of Hays, Kansas, Herrman comes from a family of lawyers. His father had a general practice in Hays, and an uncle and grandfather also were attorneys. He came to Texas and received a B.A. in Liberal Arts from the University of Texas in 1982 and his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law in 1986. During his undergraduate years, he worked his way through school by selling Kirby vacuum cleaners door to door and started his own Kirby franchise during law school. After getting his J.D., Herrman joined a firm in Corpus Christi, handling both plaintiff’s personal injury and insurance defense cases. After five years, he joined his brother, David, and another attorney to form their own law firm committed solely to representing injured accident victims. Herrman has maintained that focus in his practice ever since. Together, he and his brother have more than 70 years of combined experience and have resolved more than 20,000 combined cases.

Personal Injury Assistance in Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley

He has had a hand in many significant resolutions on behalf of his clients, including multiple seven-figure settlements. A breach of duty of care, or more simply a “breach of duty” is a term often used in legal situations, and refers to the failure of one party to behave in a reasonably responsible manner, resulting in injury to another party. When you are injured by a product it can be hard to know whether the injury occurred due to user error or a defect in the product. Some products should be reasonably safe for a consumer to use with very little instruction. Other products contain innate hazards and rely at least partially on the competency of the consumer to use that product safely by following the safety instructions and warnings provided. Why You Shouldn't Tweet After a Car Accident

If you’ve been in a bad car accident, the road to recovery can take a while. If you make this common mistake after your accident, you're going to delay it further. If you’ve sustained some major injuries, you need to be able to prove that these injuries are taking a toll on your life for the insurance companies to compensate you for your losses, like medical bills and wages you’re missing from being unable to work. Keep in mind that the insurance company is not your friend. It has an incentive to argue that you are not injured so that it can save money. As such, it will go to extreme lengths to prove that you are exaggerating your injuries. The first place they’ll check: your social me... […]
