A private practice where the needs of victims and their family members always come first.
After graduation from law school, Ms. Cordes joined a small law firm in Louisville, Kentucky. Her focus was domestic relations with an emphasis on complex divorce, child custody and paternity cases. During that time, Ms. Cordes gained extensive courtroom and legal writing experience, including appellate advocacy.
Ms. Cordes joined Thomas Law Offices in May of 2014 as an associate. Her primary area of practice is civil litigation with an emphasis on nursing home negligence, products liability, mass torts and other serious personal injury matters. Ms. Cordes also practices in domestic relations at Thomas Law Offices due to her extensive background in this particular area. However, Lindsay has a particular affinity for representing victims of sexual assault and harassment in the educational area, pursing Title IX claims against educational institutions.
Ms. Cordes currently serves on the board of the Women Lawyers Association of Jefferson County as President. Ms. Cordes is former associate member of the The Louis D. Brandeis American Inn of Court. Ms. Cordes regularly volunteers with the Legal Aid Society of Louisville as a pro bono domestic violence attorney, representing victims of domestic violence.
