Denise Georges brings a valuable skill set to victim advocacy cases.
Denise H. Georges, an associate at Colson Hicks Eidson, practices personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability and premises liability litigation.
As an Assistant State Attorney for Miami-Dade County from 2008 to 2016, Ms. Georges developed a valuable skill set in victim advocacy and tried over 40 jury trials to verdict and over 50 bench trials. In addition, as a Felony Division Chief, Ms. Georges tried a multitude of cases including murder and DUI manslaughter.
In 2016, Ms. Georges was recognized by the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and received the Prosecution of Excellence Award for her handling of high profile DUI cases.
Ms. Georges attended the Pennsylvania State University where she graduated with a B.S. in Crime, Law and Justice and a minor in Sociology. Ms. Georges also received her Juris Doctor from Widener University of Law. Additionally, Ms. Georges serves as an Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern in the Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
Ms. Georges is licensed to practice law in Florida and Pennsylvania. As a Syrian-American, she speaks Arabic fluently.
