Thomas Leemon is an experienced trial attorney that represents victims in civil litigation matters, including product liability, personal injury, premises liability, and business claims. He works tirelessly in advocating for his clients, whether that means negotiating a pre-litigation resolution, drafting a legal brief, or arguing the merits of a case in the courtroom. Prior to joining the Warshauer-McLaughlin Law Group, Thomas operated from the other side of the aisle, defending individuals and business entities in various matters, including personal injury and business claims. This hands-on experience in defending against claims has provided Thomas with a skill set that enables him to anticipate the strategies and defenses to be deployed by defense counsel, resulting in an added benefit to his clients. Thomas received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin in May 2011. While attending law school, Thomas served as a law clerk to Ret. Judge John C. Albert, Dane County Circuit Court. He also received substantial appellate experience as a student-attorney with the Wisconsin Innocence Project, a clinical project designed to remedy wrongful convictions through the use of DNA evidence and other means. Much of his time at the Wisconsin Innocence Project was spent drafting legal briefs that were subsequently filed with the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and Wisconsin Supreme Court. Thomas received his undergraduate degree in 2007 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, graduating summa cum laude. Thomas is admitted to practice law in Colorado and Wisconsin, as well as before the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.
